Stor.ai is a customer first commerce solution that offers world class e-commerce, picking, and fulfillment solutions to grocers. We are growing our North America sales team and hiring a business development representative (BRD) to work closely with our sales and marketing teams. Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential prospects, pre-qualify leads, and help build a robust pipeline
  • Generate new leads through a combination of outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Follow up with potential leads from events, marketing efforts, inbound leads, etc
  • Engage in productive conversations with prospects to discover sales opportunities
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow up
  • Gain commitments and schedule web demos and meetings
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business challenges faced by our prospects, be able relay the stor.ai value proposition, and overcome objections
  • Quickly and confidently establish rapport with prospects, identify BANT, ask the right questions to determine pain points, requirements, etc
  • Diligently log all activity, follow-up tasks, and record key data and insights into our CRM
  • Helps to develop scripts, messaging, campaigns, etc
  • Assists in database management, contact management, updates, and parsing
  • Attend trade shows and events in support of sales efforts
  • Go the “extra mile” to help prospects and team members

Required Experience & Skills

  • Should have a minimum of 6+ months of business development experience with cold calling, outbound customer contact, lead generation, and qualifying prospects (BDR, SDR, Inside Sales)
  • A self-starter willing to make outbound cold and warm sales calls, conduct research for lead generation, and follow a specific cadence of follow up calls/emails
  • Must be highly adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced (start-up) environment and willing to pitch in and wear many hats
  • Previous experience using CRM is necessary – Hubspot CRM experience is a big plus
  • Friendly, upbeat personality with excellent communication and phone skills
  • Eastern or Central time zone (remote work available for the right candidate)

Compensation

This is a full time, salaried position with benefits.  Salary is commensurate with experience
