Content Marketing Writer / Creator is expanding its marketing department and looking to hire an experienced B2B Content writer to join their expanding marketing and sales team.

On any given day, you’ll support a variety of content marketing activities, such as writing and publishing thought leadership, blog posts and quickly whipping up copy to promote it on social. You’ll learn about our products and customers and then dive into crafting copy for a landing page, ad, email, or eBook. Your passion for your craft will radiate through your interactions; to keep your skills sharp and our team up to date on the latest content trends, you’ll be eager to share inspiring content from other industry rockstars.


You will write and edit thought leadership and demand-generation copy (long and short form) for a variety of channels (including email, web, mobile, infographics, eBooks, video, print, social media, blogs, and events). The ideal candidate will be able to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and turn messaging into compelling copy that engages. This role will be focused on creating connections with our prospects and customers through content to bring awareness to drive more leads and grow our pipeline.

  • Research, write, edit, and publish content including thought leadership, blog posts, email campaigns, articles, case studies, digital ads, social copy, website copy, eBooks, sales collateral, video scripts, webinar abstracts, and more
  • Write compelling copy designed to generate brand awareness, convert leads, nurture prospects, and drive lead generation for a variety of marketing campaigns
  • Conduct regular industry and competitor research and share with the team for content opportunities
  • Ability to tailor writing/messaging of complex ideas to specific targeted personas and job functions
  • Will be able to plan and executive of web content best practices for SEO (blogs, articles, etc)
  • Continuously measure campaign data and analyze results to optimize future marketing efforts
  • Assist with maintaining the content editorial calendar
  • Working with leadership, marketing, and sales teams to do research, gain insights and be timely with subject matter that is important to our target markets.

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of overall marketing experience, especially with writing, blogging, thought leadership articles & social media as a focus of your work
  • Preferred experience in a writing/content role at a B2B technology-based company
  • Ability to conceive, draft, proofread and edit written materials quickly while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience with CRM/email/marketing platforms is desired
  • Ability to turn deliverables around quickly and with little guidance
  • Comfortable working with a geographically distributed team
  • Must be able to provide writing samples as part of the interview process
  • Must reside in Eastern or Central time zone due to involvement with other team members
